How it works

Simple for farmers. Direct for buyers.

CropListing is a venue: growers post what they have, buyers reach out, and the two sides agree on terms directly.

For farmers

  1. Create a free account. Farm name, contact, county and state. Founding Farmer membership: free for 2 years.
  2. List a crop. Crop, variety, quantity and unit, asking price or "make an offer", availability window, location, certifications, pickup or delivery (FOB) terms and up to 6 photos.
  3. We review it within 1 business day so the marketplace stays clean. Then it goes live.
  4. Get inquiries by email. Reply to the email to answer the buyer. Your address is only shared when you reply.
  5. Mark it sold from your dashboard. Listings expire automatically after the availability window ends.

For buyers & exporters

  1. Search listings by crop, state, county, organic status and availability.
  2. Check the benchmark. Listing pages show current USDA Market News ranges for the crop where available.
  3. Send an inquiry with quantity, target price, delivery point and timing. No account needed.
  4. Deal directly with the grower. Verify quality, food-safety certificates, payment and logistics before you commit.

What CropListing is, and isn't

CropListing is an online listing service. We don't buy, sell, take title to, store, inspect, grade or ship crops, and we don't hold payments. We're not a licensed broker or dealer. Buyers and sellers are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to them, such as PACA licensing for produce dealers, organic labeling rules and state grade standards. Escrow and payment services, if added later, will be provided through a licensed partner.

Price benchmarks and pricing guidance come from public USDA reports and simple automated comparisons. They are for reference only, not an offer, appraisal or advice.
